Paper and Scissors - Carl Mengert
Through the beautiful medium of assorted papers, Carl will demonstrate and help students to experience new and exciting ideas in collage. Students will create and complete a lovely paper collage of their own. ALL materials provided. If you have any interesting papers, stamps, cards or ideas about your piece, bring them with you. Bring a bag lunch.

Mosaic Tile Workshop - Karin Overbeck
Would you like to "frame somebody"?! Karin will provide the frame and ALL materials for you to decorate a wide format picture frame. If you have personal items: buttons, jewelry, shells, shards you wish to include in your design please bring them along.

Clay Tile Design - Renee Schwaller
Renee will bring 6" x 6" hand rolled clay tiles for students to incise (scraffito) their own design. It's like printmaking with tile! After glazing she will fire them at her studio. Students will pick up finished tiles at the MAM. Renee has mastered this beautiful art form and will bring examples of her work to inspire you.

Folk Art Painting Basics - Marjory Allingham
Learn from the master! Marjory will teach you basic brushstrokes and techniques used in folk painting. The instructor will provide each student with a wodden cutting board to paint, along with all other supplies. All you need to bring is a lunch.

A winter and summer session hosts a myriad of classes for adults and children. Short term, inexpensive, and fun, the classes fit a busy lifestyle! Since 1994, hundreds of students have enjoyed a class in watercolor, ceramics, drawing, basketry, jewelry making and more.
Membership Support Opportunites
- Volunteers are at the heart of the Miller with 150 members performing many activities including security guard, exhibit installation and much more. They pay a nominal fee that supports their educational programs.
- Sustaining Members give financial support with annual renewing gifts from $50-$25,000.
- Foundations/Grants support the operating budget.
- Exhibit Sponsors give financial assistance to help with exhibit expenses and are recognized accordingly.
- Many give bequests of art work for the Permanent Collection, leave estate gifts in their will, or donate appreciated securities or IRA's.
Community Outreach
The Museum is dedicated to community outreach and sponsors the Master Artist Picture Program for elementary students and senior citizens along with regularly scheduled docent led school tours to the Museum.
Museum Shop
A small gift shop filled with books, jewelry, kids' items, beautiful cards, ceramics, and more is sure to please the Museum goer with something to remember their visit. Postcards and cards from the Permanent Collection, Gerhard CF Miller books (9) and reproductions have been popular keepsakes.
